With the Play Cloths Spring ‘09 Release just a couple of weeks away, im figuring that its about time give everyone a look at the Spring Goods except for the fact that the powers that be have tied my hands on that one.
So like a classy stripper, im going to show you as much as i can without showing you anything at all.
After a long weekend, I get back to the office to see that my Nike and My man, my mellow, Wale blessed us with a few gifts over the break.
Wale hit us with his signature Nike Foamdome. with only 95 in existance, this Foamposite/Goadome hybrid should fetch me some rent money when i put it up on ebay. (Just playin Wale)
On January 19th, Stussy DC launched an event celebrating the inauguration of President Obama and the birthday of Martin Luther King. Such a historic time mark in our time can only be commemorated in one way… Rappers and Tee Shirts. Stussy managed to bring both of those elements together as Wale, Bun B and DJ/Producer 9th Wonder got together to talk politics with Vimby’s Cameras.

During the Clipse’s stop at the Canadian Play Cloths outpost Livestock , Vice magazine sent Shaggy from Scooby Doo, or a close faximilie (kidding Patrick), for a pretty comprehensive interview covering everything from the status of the album to the infamous Pitchfork Response.
Its hard to imagine in this age of minimalist design that a decade ago the epitome of straight stuntin’ was having an animated character emblazoned across your chest.
The High Fashion Cartoon Kingpins Iceberg have seemed to make their return to the runway for ‘09 with a new take on their old style.
The also bring forth a plethora of styles forgoing the usage of cartoon characters, but we didn’t post any pictures of those because you more than likely don’t care but if you want to check out the rest of the collection, here ya go Iceberg 2009 collection
On January 17th, the Re-Up Gang parachuted into the wilds of Canada for a meet and Greet at Livestock, our premier Play Cloths account in the great white north.
Our famalam Kid Cudi braved the elements to come through and show face, Luckily he borrowed the Fonz’s jacket before he came through.
