This weekend the Clipse make a stop in Westbury, Long Island to visit one of our loyal Play Cloths carriers, EastWest. If you’re out on the Island, Close to the Island, ever seen an island or work for Island/Def Jam, wou should make your way to the Westbury for the instore, and if that wasn’t enough, the Clipse will be performing later that night at Club Loaded.
If i died tomorrow i would have someone drag my corpse to the show and take pictures just so someone could tell my kids I was there. I’m just sayin.
Courtesy of Malice, the Clipse hit us with more footage of their stint at Sneaker Pimps Miami including a chat with Mikey Rocks and Chuck Inglish of the Cool Kids. Another instance of me getting called out on video, i better get on my job before i dont have a job at all
The past weekend, the great city of Miami played host to the traveling kicks collectors nerdfest Sneaker Pimps giving the populace of the sunny state of Florida a chance to obsess over who kept their Yeezy’s cleaner. Attendants of this incarnation of Sneaker Pimps were given a treat, if they ever took a chance to stop staring at eachother’s feet, they might have looked up and seen that the Clipse were running through their catalog of hits.
Thanks toRap Radar we have footage of the guys rolling through a couple of hits.
Last night the Clipse hit NYC and tore it down at an intimate, low key performance at Soho’s Webster Hall. Luckily the homie Miss Info was on her technology grind and had someone recording the show. I was going to transcribe the performance an reenact it using interpretive dance, but i figure that video works better. Short interview with Mikey Fresh after the Jump. You can check out a couple of flicks from the performance, including a guest appearance from Kaws here.
The Clipse are performing at Webster Hall on May 11th and the Fader magazine is giving away 2 tickets at random to one lucky person who emails them with their full name. Hit em up at contests@thefader.com Good Luck. I would say “see you there” but i’m only allowed within 50 feet of them due to this damn restraining order.
On April 19th the Clipse will be playing Coachella one of the largest outdoor music festivals if not the largest. Why? Because we know how much you love to be out in the heat with a bunch of other sweaty dudes. So if you are in the mood for 3 days of loud indie rock, music snobs and women with loose morals get more info on the show here
