Globe trotting Ferris Buellermanages to catch Pusha T in a contemplative mood during the “I’m Good” Video shoot. As he rests between shots, you can catch Pusha waxing poetic about discretionary spending in a less than robust economy. The vid is sandwiched between nonsensical banter between Ferris and Steven Victor about their twitter conversations. We wouldn’t usually advise you to skip to the good parts of a video, but we don’t think you’re interested in their internet catfight.
Drake-a-mania has struck the nation a with the fervor of a rabid weasel and quickly spread from the hard drives of the hip hop nerd elite to the iPods of every 9 to 5er working girl using his “So Far Gone” mixtape as the soundtrack to getting right on the treadmill. Top 40 radio has been spinning “Best I Ever Had” like it was an official single prompting Heart Break Drake to shoot a video for the song and enlisting the talents of Kanye West in the directors chair. Visually Mr. West may want to stay in the studio and not behind the camera but on a scale of 1 to 10? we rate this video…BEWBS!
Who else saw Transformers 2? Don’t worry, we made the same mistake. We should have known after the first one, but you know how the saying goes, “Fool me us once shame on you, fool us twice and we’re going to bust your head open with a lead pipe.” Anyways, for those who haven’t seen it, here’s a one minute synopsis of the movie so you don’t even have to roll out to theaters to see it.
Thanks us later
We’re warming up to this Ace Hood kid over here. If you can say anything about him you can say that he’s persistent, has a good team around him and he seems not to have prescribed to DJ Khaled and Rick Ross’s eating habits and exercise regimen.
And hes a fan of Play Cloths and that’s always a good thing
We cant dress down every day, sometimes we have to dazzle em’ with our ability to clean up real nice. When the three piece suit is in full effect, the perfect accent is a good pair of cufflinks. These YSL cufflinks are the perfect way to incorporate some gangsterizim into your monkeysuit. My theory is that if I engrave my name into the links then i own the bullet with my name on it and therefore cannot be killed, make sense? Probably not but for $250 i’m buying good fashion and invulnerability. Wise investment
available at all YSL dealers
Apparently the Brothers Thornton Still got it 4 Cheap, but who knew they got it for free? With the album on the verge and 2 videos in the can with more to come, its about time to start putting some product in the streets. The Clipse saw fit to see to it that there was something to hold over the music deprived until the release of “Til’ the Casket Drops” this fall. These Samplers should be coming soon to your local Play Cloths dealers and music stores.
More after the jump
Clipse, Pharell and the crew putting on full display all of the tomfoolery that goes on behind the scenes of a video shoot.
Coming soon, the Behind the scenes of the behind the scenes, You can see the lunch menu, the bathroom breaks and watch Pusha sleep.
Maybe its better you not see that.
With all the big things that have been going on in music as we roll into the Summer, i would be remiss if i didn’t speak on the new project by our boy Curtains. The Brooklyn raised L.A. Living MC has released an ambitious mixtape not only documenting him as an MC, but the struggles of people in general, getting money, getting respect and getting over.
He’s honesly the best MC to be named after home decor that i’ve ever heard.
Check out the mixtape here
Clipse have been hitting stages across America in preparation for the onslaught of the upcoming album. Just recently the headlined at The Nokia Theater in Los Angeles gracing the stage with upstart west coaster Diz Gibran and Skata ternt Rappa, Terry Kennedy. Myspace managed to catch up with all the evening’s participants for short interviews.
How many Clipse interviews can you fit on one blog? I’m shooting for world record status.
